We are very excited to announce that we will be participating in
the Massey High School Foundation’s international
night on Friday 5th July.
The Massey High School Foundation was established in 2011 as a
charitable trust that provides opportunities to help students to
become successful. Markovina
Vineyard Estate is proud to be associated with the Foundation
and one of our directors (Mark Markovina) donates his time to the
School’s Foundation as a trustee and chairman. We are proud to say
that we will be their sponsor for this event.
This special event is an International Night Fundraiser and has
loads of entertainment and food for all tastes. There will be
thirteen different food stations that serve guests a selection of
some amazing foods from many countries around the world.
You might have thought we would choose Croatian food, however
one of the members wanted to cook a spit roast lamb and so we
decided that a selection of seafood would be a great choice for us
and so we decided on ‘good old kiwiana style’.
The idea is that guests are given a ‘passport’ on arrival and
each time they visit a country they get a stamp.
We have planned a nice selection of canapes for our guests in
the form of mussel and kumara fritters, prawn cocktails and
portions of raw fish – some lovely starters to whet your
appetite.
Tickets are $35.00 each and it is shaping up to be a great night
out. The $35.00 ticket price goes to the Foundation and goes
towards the school and community.
There will also

- door prizes
- entertainment
- cash bar

and contribute to this great charity.
There are only 200 tickets available, so get in quick to avoid
disappointment and come along and sample some exquisite food
sensations!
