Markovina Estate's experienced and flexible management have met and exceeded hundreds of couples individual needs and expectations since 1969 and is considered one of the best Auckland Wedding Venues.
We take pride in ensuring that each and every wedding reception we hold is as special for us as it is for you. We only operate one wedding per day so you can choose the start and finish times to suit your requirements.
Our venue is specifically designed for weddings with guest numbers of 70 or more. We have the flexibility with the design of our venue to ensure that smaller groups are able to have an intimate day as well as being able to open up our venue so that much larger receptions can enjoy the unique experience we create for you.

By choosing to have your wedding at our estate we look to include most of the elements required for a magical day as part of our wedding package. When your guests arrive we will set the tone with soft background music being played throughout our gardens, these expansive gardens ensure that there is ample space for your guests to mix and mingle as well as explore the outdoor areas and pond features.

Setting & Activities
Our water features are set in an acre of lovingly tendered gardens creating an exquisite backdrop for your ceremony and reception.
Your photographer will enjoy our venue as they will be spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing exquisite backdrops for you album. We have viewed some of the work from photographers who have put together albums at our venue. Feel free to have a look at the photographers work.
During your reception your guests will be seated under a canopy of grapevines in our beautifully designed and constructed functions rooms. We have a high quality sound system allowing DJ's to connect directly into our system ensuring that the volume and music quality is perfect for dancing and still allows your relatives to talk freely at their tables. We also offer a cordless microphone for your speeches.

Your Ceremony
We give you the option to have your ceremony at our venue as part of the package. Because our venue offers expansive outdoor areas we have a number of options for you to choose from when deciding where to hold your ceremony including both a fully indoor option as well as a fully covered option with a garden backdrop if the weather is not kind.
We can take care of your music requirements by playing your specifically selected songs for walking through our grounds to our outdoor ceremony area and for signing the register. We play these songs through our garden sounds system. We are able to offer that perfect vineyard wedding or garden wedding ceremony.

Package
We try and include everything that a function venue should as part of our all inclusive function package at a reasonable price.
Our all inclusive price includes the following:
- Venue hire
- Planning meetings
- Rehearsal time
- Your ceremony at our estate
- Use of our venue for photographs
- Your meal including hors d’oeuvres, main meal, dessert, cheese board and coffee
- Our drinks package including wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages
- Use of our quality sound system for both indoors and outdoors
- Friendly and helpful staff to ensure your day is all it can be
