Planning a large wedding can be overwhelming, with multiple vendors to coordinate. Markovina Estate simplifies this process with an all-inclusive venue, canapes, meals, dessert buffet, and beverage package that covers some of the biggest and most important aspects of your day. Our packages include:

Exclusive Venue Access: Markovina Estate hosts only one wedding per day, giving you and your guests exclusive access to the entire 10-acre property. This means you can use the various ceremony locations and photo spots without any other events on site.

Catering and Beverages: Our team of experienced chefs provide a range of dining options, from canapés to a full main meal (buffet, plated, or sharing platters) and a dessert buffet. The package also includes a 6-hour open bar with a selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Decor and Setup: Markovina Estate provides the essential items like tables, chairs, glassware, cutlery, and linen. We also offer a wide selection of complimentary decor items like vases and candle holders, easels, and signage which can help save on costs and simplify your planning.

In-House Sound and Lighting: The venue is equipped with a high-quality sound system and dance floor lighting, which can be used by a DJ or live band. This eliminates the need to source this from an external vendor. Simply plug in and take over our sound system or use wireless options from your phone to set your garden and indoor ambience.

Planning a Large Wedding at Markovina Estate
The team at Markovina Estate is well-versed in coordinating large-scale weddings and can help you every step of the way. So now that you are booked in with us, you might be wondering what the process looks like!

Planning Meeting: The journey begins with a planning meeting to fine-tune timings, create a detailed run sheet, and answer any questions you may have. This is usually 9 months before your special day.

Choosing Your Spaces: With nine distinct ceremony locations, you have the flexibility to choose a setting that best suits your style and guest count. For a large gathering, spaces like the Chestnut Tree, Cherry Blossom Round or the Barrel Waterfall offer a stunning backdrop.

Second Planning Meeting: Your wedding journey continues with another planning meeting to update any changes, discuss further ideas, and begin to lock in your food and beverage offerings for your guests. We look to host this meeting 6 weeks prior to your special day.
This is also a good time to organise a mock table session if you would like to use our demo room and tables to practice your table decor.

Menu Selection: When you will meet with the team to finalise your guest numbers and select your menu, we will also accommodate special arrangements for cultural weddings, such as Indian weddings, Island weddings, and other cultural or tradition cuisine options.

Vendor Coordination: While Markovina provides many of the key services, they can also work seamlessly with your external vendors, such as photographers and florists, to ensure a smooth and stress-free day. You are welcome to source your own vendors, but we do have a list of highly recommended vendors here; Recommended Suppliers

As you may require additional visits to our estate to bring vendors, bridal party, and family members, simply reach out to us and we can book you in. We also contact you over the phone for a details check, usually within the week of the wedding.
