From Fijian Beef Curry to Hawaiian Pork, Poached Salmon to Crab Salad, Taro, Chop Suey, Full Seafood Bars and so much more, we have your favourites covered.
Our dessert menu is crafted as a generous buffet display, offering plenty of variety for your guests including Panipopo, Koko Samoa, Faausi, and Panikeke.

A retro disco night out with a fun twist
Who doesn’t like the 60’s, 70’s 80’s & 90’s eras? Markovina Estate is a great venue and we have a lot of fun with the Boogie Nights theme! The Estate venue is transformed into a disco wonderland and of course we provide plenty of quality food and drinks.
All you will need to worry about is which pair or flares you would like to wear.
To join a Combined Event, we require a minimum of 10 people. This is great for small to medium sized companies who want to have a fantastic evening with the atmosphere of being part of a bigger event.
Barrel Waterfall
Experience pure serenity in front of the Barrel Waterfall while your guests watch on in comfort, seated amongst the olive trees.
The trees provide great shade for your guests, perfect for weddings on hot, sunny days. In front of the original barrel from our winery, you are able to say your wedding vows to each other in front of the waterfall on a picturesque small jetty.
The barrel waterfall also has a beautiful stone signing table and plinths nearby which can easily be decorated.
Cherry Blossom Round
The newest ceremony location, the Cherry Blossom Round is a truly unique setting to recite your vows.
With a dedicated aisle gradually rising up to the round, choose to have your wedding ceremony in an enclosed circle, a spiral, half-moon, or traditionally forward facing toward the beautiful Cherry Blossom Trees.
The trees blossom in spring, then becoming leafy and green in summer lasting until Autumn when they turn amber before losing their leaves for winter.
The Palms
Located just to the left of our Pebble Beach, a beautiful garden of magnificent palm trees provides the perfect backdrop for a garden wedding.
Nestled in nature and with a pond nearby, The Palms are an ideal location all year round to say, “I do”.
Pebble Beach
Located on the opposite side of our largest pond, across from the Two Kauris, the Pebble Beach provides a small, intimate location surrounded by large trees and manicured gardens.
Recite your vows overlooking the pond, with a beautiful stone feature and Two Kauri Trees in the background.
Stone Fireplace
Our Otago schist fireplace provides the perfect back drop for a winter wedding or a wet summer's day, while still being surrounded by the beautiful gardens.
Positioned at the end of the foyer, the large glass sliding doors
can be easily opened and closed, making the fireplace
a great ceremony location all year round.
Pergoda
Standing out from the surrounding gardens, the small white Pergoda provides an intimate ceremony location for smaller weddings.
Beautiful without decorations, or easy to add, the Pergoda is a classic selection for a garden wedding.
Perfect for unity candles, tea ceremonies, or just a private
quiet moment as newlyweds.
The Barrels
Celebrate your love in front of the beautiful barrel display
featuring 11 barrels, superb for a vineyard wedding.
As a great location all year round, The Barrels provide a shaded seating area for your guests in summer or a sunny spot receiving all day sun in cooler months.
The barrels are a perfect bridal party and group photo backdrop.
Two Kauri Trees
Towering above the surrounding gardens, Two Kauri Trees perfectly frame the aisle and altar in front of our jetty and pond.
The trees set the scene for outstanding memories, creating a stunning background for an outdoor wedding ceremony location all year.
A beautiful stone signing table sets the scene for a perfect photo opportunity.
Chestnut Tree
The Chestnut Tree is situated in a beautiful open space surrounded by vines and trees within our gardens. It provides an incredible backdrop for your ceremony.
Standing out from the rest, this ceremony area is a true statement piece and a destination once you walk through our aisle of Jacaranda trees,
Blooms in December and green through late Spring to Autumn. The Chestnut Tree is also an outstanding photographic opportunity in Winter.

Weddings
What is the venue hire fee for a wedding?
Our wedding package price per person includes seven hours of "venue hire" for your wedding. You have exclusive use of our estate for up to seven hours ending when your music finishes.
Your start time is usually when your ceremony begins, guests can arrive up to 30 minutes prior and depart within 30 minutes after your finish time.
Additional time is available from $10pp for an additional hour, or $15pp for an additional hour that also includes an extra hour of the beverage package and a light supper.
Do you have exclusive use of the entire venue for the entire day?
We host only one wedding per day, giving you exclusive access to all the beautiful gardens for creating magical memories.
Planning meetings and tours around the estate may take place on the day of your wedding, but only up until 2 hours prior to your guest arrival time.
Does the venue have any decorations you can use?
We are pleased to offer the items in our decor room as a complimentary addition to your special day. These can be used by your florist, planner, friends or family for set up at our venue.
The white ceiling draping above the dance floor, the starlit panel dance floor, the LOVE Sign, and the photo booth are hire items and do come with a hire cost.
What sound system does the venue have?
We have a top of the line sound system at Markovina. Our venue is vast and offers multiple ceremony locations, a key focus to us is ensuring that regardless of the location our couples are choosing for their wedding ceremony we want the music experience to be stunning. There are speakers in each ceremony area and they have individual digital control and the ability to connect at each ceremony location both hard wired (for DJ’s & live music) and wireless if couples opt to use their own device.
We have two handheld wireless microphones that are able to be used by your celebrant, priest, pastor, MC, DJ etc. They are powered through to all of our garden locations and indoor speakers so make it easy for everyone to hear any photo calling or importance announcement.
What is included in the wedding package?
Our wedding package price per person includes;
Seven hours of "venue hire" for your wedding.
A six hour beverage package of our house selection of eight wine varietals of both still and bubbly, six beer options & a selection of non-alcoholic refreshments.
Eight canapes per person, and your choice from our premium menus; buffet, sharing platters or plated main meal
Our extensive dessert selection & cheese board.
Setup of your ceremony chairs for each guest either undercover in front of our stone fireplace or in one of our various garden locations.
Bridal room that can be used from one hour prior to your ceremony.
Guest tables, chivari chairs, glassware, crockery & linen for your reception.
Use of our in-house & garden music system, fairy light curtain & dance lighting.
Use of our reception decoration items.
Carparking for up to 100 cars.
Our wedding planners to assist you with your special day.
