Welcome your new one in to the world with a Baby Shower at our estate. Avoid any unnecessary pressures in the lead-up to birth by holding your baby shower with us, where we can take care of the hospitality and at family-owned estate.

You have the freedom to create the itinerary for the day and leave the hospitality to us. Your friends and family will be so delighted to be welcoming your precious bundle of joy to the world.

If the whole family’s around the corner, you don’t have to go anywhere else. Ring us for availability, and we will share our beautiful gardens for you to relax in. We have plenty of space if you have children attending, we can also fit a bouncy castle, or simply enjoy our tranquil gardens surrounded by your nearest and dearest.

By the Barrel Waterfall, Pebble Beach, Kauri Trees or in front of the Chestnut Tree plus our new developing area at the Cherry Blossom Round.

Be spoilt for options rain or shine, as we can also keep you warm if you decide to mix and mingle by our schist fireplace, an indoor option surrounded by sliding glass doors, still giving you the perfect view of the stunning gardens.

Our music system will be ready to use whichever area you and your guests will be to help with the ambience of your party.

Located on 10 acres Markovina Estate has amazing gardens for you and your family to relax and explore while enjoying the hospitality our family-owned business has to offer.

Onsite we have croquet, petanque and giant jenga plus you are welcome to use our expansive lawn area to arrange other games and activities.

Our also have a music system through our gardens to help with the ambiance of your event.

Pricing & Packages | Baby Shower

We offer more than just an events space

We offer a range of options and will provide you with customised pricing as this does depend on how many guests you are expecting and the style of event you are after. You may choose to have a luncheon event with canapes and nibbles or an event that goes from the afternoon in to the evening with a full seated meal.

To open our venue we do have a minimum spend, which consists of venue hire, food and beverages. We also have the availability to offer beverages packages, or you can set up a bar tab or have a cash bar available for your guests.

Garden Picnic FAQ

Can we bring in our activities to entertain our children?

Yes, simply tell us what you are planning to do and we will make sure you are in the best place in our gardens to give you the space you need.

Do you provide music and entertainment or can we provide our own?

We have a full music system for music both in the gardens and inside. We have a selection of mingling and dinner music however you are welcome to bring your own device and plug it into our system or arrange your own DJ, live music or entertainment.
