At Markovina Estate, we have a huge 10 acre property which we continue to develop and create amazing garden spaces and water features for you and your guests to enjoy. We have a secluded garden oasis to relax, enjoy and celebrate your engagement with your nearest and dearest. We are a 100% family owned business and always strive to ensure that everyone entering our gates has an incredible experience at our venue.
When hiring our venue for your engagement party, you are also welcome to explore the gardens, enjoy the outdoors and capture wonderful moments of the beginning of your journey together.

By the Barrel Waterfall, Pebble Beach, Kauri Trees or in front of the Chestnut Tree plus our new developing area at the Cherry Blossom Round.
Be spoilt for options rain or shine, as we can also keep you warm if you decide to mix and mingle by our schist fireplace, an indoor option surrounded by sliding glass doors, still giving you the perfect view of the stunning gardens.
Our music system will be ready to use whichever area you and your guests will be to help with the ambience of your party.

A modern-style area surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, complimented by a warming schist fireplace that sets the ambience of the space. Best for intimate parties, or mingling and cocktail events for up to 100 guests.
We offer more than just an events space
When hiring our venue we include a number of items as part of our inclusive package at no additional cost. These include:
PA Sound System – Garden, surround & dancing speakers
Cordless Microphones – Two cordless microphones available
LED Screens – Two installed 65 inch LED screens available for use
Table Settings – Selection of vases you are welcome to use
Staffing – We provide staffing as part of our event costs
Backup Generator – If we lose power, we have a backup ready to go

Pricing & Packages
So many options to fit your budget
We offer a range of options and will provide you with customised pricing as this does depend on how many guests you are expecting and the style of event you are after. You may choose to have a luncheon event with canapes and nibbles or an event that goes from the afternoon in to the evening with a full seated meal.
To open our venue we do have a minimum spend, which consists of venue hire, food and beverages. We also have the availability to offer beverages packages, or you can set up a bar tab or have a cash bar available for your guests.

Engagement Party FAQ
How soon should I book my engagement party?
It does depend on the number of guests you are wanting at your event and what time of year you are wanting your celebration, so please contact us to find out more. For most engagement party bookings, we open up our venue 3 months in advance.
Can we BYO food or beverage?
Unfortunately we do not permit BYO food or beverages. We do have a full bar onsite as we as our own kitchen and chefs.
What are your minimum numbers?
Our minimum numbers depend on what style of engagement party you are wanting to book and how far in advance you are making your booking.
