Located on 10 acres Markovina Estate has amazing gardens for you and your family to relax and explore while enjoying the hospitality our family-owned business has to offer.
Onsite we have croquet, petanque and giant jenga plus you are welcome to use our expansive lawn area to arrange other games and activities.
Our also have a music system through our gardens to help with the ambiance of your event.

Let our fire warm you up on a cold wet day
Our indoor fireplace area is the perfect location for shade in a hot summers’ day, or an cosy indoor area in winter with views still out to our beautiful gardens. In the summer, we can open our huge glass sliders which will fully open up the venue or on a cold wet day we can keep closed and we can warm you with our huge stone fireplace.
When hiring our venue exclusively for your event, our fireplace area is perfect for mingling followed by dining in our main events room, where you enjoy eating under a canopy of vines and vintage lights, still able to look out to our expansive gardens. Dining in our fireplace area is also very popular for intimate lunch or afternoon events.
At a family reunion a key part of the event is having that space for you and your family to mingle and talk to each other. We have all the room you need at our estate.

Our Main Event Space
Experience our indoor alfresco dining room while you are seated inside covered with a canopy of vines and vintage lights overhead and walls of glass to enjoy the outside views. This area if perfect for groups between 55 and 225.
Our Schist Fireplace
A modern style area surrounded by sliding glass doors and complimented by an expansive schist fireplace that sets the ambiance of the area. Best for mingling, cocktail events or smaller seated events. Perfect for mingling or events up to 100 guests.

When choosing the right venue for a family reunion, you need to ensure that the venue you are selecting is suitable for all ages attending. At Markovina Estate we balance the elegance with a relaxed rustic feeling. We balance the indoor spaces with beautiful garden areas and being a family owned and operated business we ensure that our venue is welcoming and inviting for your reunion.
When planning your event consider how many children are coming, we do have a few games onsite however you are welcome to arrange additional activities for the younger children (plus a few for the energetic adults). We have had guests arrange face painting, cartoonists and a range of bouncy castle activities for everyone to enjoy.

Pricing & Packages
How much will our event cost
We offer a range of options and will provide you with customised pricing as this does depend on how many guests you are expecting and the style of event you are after. You may choose to have a luncheon event with canapes and nibbles or an event that goes from the afternoon in to the evening with a full seated meal.
To open our venue we do have a minimum spend, which consists of venue hire, food and beverages. We also have the availability to offer beverages packages, or you can set up a bar tab or have a cash bar available for your guests.

Is ther price the same for children?
Depening on the age of the child we do offer a discount on their meal costs.
Can we eat outdoors?
The most common is for guests to have their canapes outside and sit inside for their main meal however if you do want to have a more casual event, potentially a gourmet BBQ or continuous nibbles there is no problem enjoying that outside.
Do you provide music or can we bring our own?
We have a full music system for music both in the gardens and inside. We have a selection of mingling and dinner music however you are welcome to bring your own device and plug it into our system or arrange your own DJ or live music.
