Be it birthdays, anniversaries, private events, special occasion or just a reason to have an afternoon with your friends.
Feel the exclusivity of our Estate’s beautifully kept gardens. Let us host you and your beloved family and friends for a relaxing get-together or romantic night filled with enticing food and wide range of beverages.
Choose your location in front of our schist fireplace, under a canopy of vines and vintage lights or you may prefer to have an outdoor location. You can choose the cosiest area for your special guests. We have a variety of meal options for you to choose from plus you have the use of our gardens to mingle, play or take photos in.

Located on 10 acres, Markovina Estate has been maintaining amazing gardens for you and guests to unwind and explore while enjoying the hospitality this family-owned business has to offer.
Spoilt for options, rain or shine, plus we can also keep you warm if you decide to have the area by the stylish stoned fireplace, a covered space sliding huge glass doors, still giving you the perfect view of the stunning gardens.
We also have croquet, pétanque and giant Jenga, which you are more than welcome to use in our expansive lawn area. Arranging other exciting outdoor games and activities will also be accommodated.

Stone Fire Place Area
A modern styled area surrounded by our manicured gardens, with floor-to ceiling glass and sliding doors, complimented by an Otago schist fireplace that sets the ambience of the space.
Perfect for initiate dining, a cocktail event or mingling prior to a seated function on our Main Reception Room. This space is light and open, creating a natural indoor-outdoor flow with our gardens, but also connected to our Main Reception Room.
Main Reception Room
Experience the “outdoors” while you are seated inside covered with a canopy of vines and vintage lights overhead, with walls of glass to enjoy the panoramic views of our gardens.
Our main reception room is suitable for any kind of event, with the flexibility to allow smaller groups an intimate experience, while we can also open up our dining areas so larger groups can enjoy the unique experience we create for you.

We always include a strong focus on your culinary experience with us and ensure that your guests are leaving our estate satisfied. Pricing & Packages
We offer more than just an events space
Our pricing depends on the number of guests & day and time of the year you are after. As we are not a restaurant, when booking an intimate lunch or dinner at our estate, we are specifically opening for your event or a small number of intimate meal bookings. When booking an event like this a minimum spend applies, based on venue hire, food and beverages.

Intimate Lunch & Dinner FAQ
How far in advance can we book?
We open our bookings for private events at different times depending on the minimum number of guests you are booking for. This timeline is:
– Bookings of 10 or more are open from one month prior to your selected date
– Bookings of 50 or more are open from four months prior to your selected date
Do you require a minimum number of guests?
There are no minimum number of guests to book a private function at our estate, as a minimum spend would apply. If you are wanting to book a table for just a few people, you can reserve your seats for any of our upcoming events
When do we have to confirm numbers?
We do require numbers confirmed 14 days prior. We are not a restaurant so do require a longer timeframe to confirm staffing and requirements for your event.
Is your venue BYO?
No sorry, we are not a BYO venue.
