Upcoming Events at Markovina Vineyard Estate
For a few dates each year, we are opening up our venue for everyone to enjoy. Our events will vary with menu styles, beverage offerings, dining locations and entertainment, with a number upcoming events scheduled this year.
Gather your loved one, family and friends for these events, this year we have booked both Mother’s Day & Father’s Day events plus depending on availability we will look to add other exciting events. Over the past couple of years we have hosted romantic Valentine’s Dinners, summer long lunches, mid year & Christmas parties.
These events are public events, and whether you are getting married with us, have been married with us or a local who would like to come and experience our venue, these events are open to everyone.
Wedding Venue Open Day
Helping to find the perfect wedding venue for you
Each year we open our stunning wedding venue for Open Days so you can view our venue in all its glory, meet some of our valued suppliers and enjoy a sample of our canapes and beverages on offer.
We can either take you on a guided tour, or you are welcome to explore our grounds at your own pace.
Our Open Days are a free event where potential couples and booked couples for the future are welcome to attend.
Of course you don’t have to wait for an Open Day to view our venue, you can email info@markovina.co.nz at any time to arrange a viewing. We are available weekdays and weekends.
Mother's Day
Mother's Day at Markovina Estate
Arrange a special treat for your mum this Mother’s Day with a celebration lunch at our Estate. We have plenty of room for everyone so bring the whole family along and relax and unwind in our manicured gardens before being seated for our tasty buffet lunch then indulge in our delicious dessert. Father's Day
Father's Day at Markovina Estate
Treat dad with a hearty buffet lunch at our Estate on Father’s Day. Enjoy a selection of our chefs’ delicious canapés served shortly after arrival, a scrumptious buffet lunch and dessert to follow. Spend this time with your family, exploring our gardens and playing garden games.

Dine & Dance
Dine & Dance at Auckland's best venue
Space available on Saturday, 25th November 2023! The perfect end of year Christmas party.
One of our most popular Christmas Party packages or available for events throughout the year, our Dine & Dance has everything you need for a great night out, including venue hire, food, beverages and a DJ.
In the lead up to Christmas we do release dates where you can join into a Combined Event. To book a table for a Combined Event, we require a minimum of 10 people. This is great for small to medium sized companies who want to have a fantastic evening with the atmosphere of being part of a bigger event.
We can also offer our Dine & Dance package for exclusive bookings which is great for Christmas Parties or Mid-Year Events. Contact our team today to see how we can help you.
Markovina Long Lunch
Long Summer Lunch
Available Sunday 17 December 2023 – this event will have a range of corporate bookings enjoying a relaxed afternoon at our estate.
As a Croatian family, we absolutely love getting together with family and friends to enjoy a great meal, which is why we’ve added our Markovina Long Lunch as a regular event at our estate.
With 10-acres of manicured gardens and water features, our venue is the perfect location to gather a group of friends or family, relax in the gardens and indulge in our delicious, seasonal menu.

Upcoming Events FAQ
How do I reserve a seat?
Simply click on the “Reserve a Seat” button and this will take you to our enquiry form. You will receive a return email from us with more information about the event you have enquired for and how to confirm a space. For all events, except for our Open Day, bookings are essential and subject to availability.
Do I have to pre-pay?
As these events are ticketed events where bookings are required, we do take pre-payment to confirm your reservation. Pre-payment details for each event will be updated with the final details in the lead up to each event.
What if I book in to an event and have to cancel?
The cancellation period may vary for each event, please see the event details for cancellation dates. However in general, any cancellations received with more than 5 days notice will receive a refund. Unfortunately any cancellations received within this period to the event date will not be refunded.
Reserve a Seat
For all of our upcoming events, with the exception of our Wedding Venue Open Day, bookings will be essential and subject to availability. Please reserve your seat with our team. You will receive a return from us confirming your booking.
