Built around the vocals of Michael Krishnan Jones and his acoustic guitar, Pat For President started life as a busking duo in Sydney in 2005, they moved to New Zealand in 2009 and have gigged hard ever since..

Pat (the original drummer) moved back to the UK and is currently working as a composer back in sunny Wales. Mike continues to gig under the name Pat For President as it’s kind of catchy and seems to roll off the tongue..​

Their versatility is legendary and Mike has a large repertoire, his Johnny Cash impression is known throughout the land, Mike is no longer musically monogamous and gigs with a few different drummers.
