Finding your perfect Kumeu Wedding Venue
Our first Wedding Open Day for 2022 was a fabulous success! Sunday 16 January 2022 was a stunning summers day in Kumeu as we held our Wedding Open Day at Markovina Estate. A brilliant opportunity for our team to showcase our estate for both newly engaged couples and our existing brides and grooms looking for inspiration for their upcoming special day.
A big thank you for all the suppliers who supported us on the day and we hope that you enjoyed reading the latest issue of New Zealand Weddings Magazine, kindly donated to us to give out to each group that attended.
The weather did not disappoint, the sun was shining while our guests were able to sample a selection of our canapés, enjoy a glass of bubbly or sparkling grape juice while receiving a tour of our estate or chatting with various suppliers that were onsite.

Auckland’s best wedding vendors
A big thank you to each of our suppliers who came along, it helped entertain and give our couples some brilliant ideas of how they can personalise their special day.
Entertaining us was Hands Off who are a popular band who have entertained played at our estate dozens of times along with regular DJ & MC Mike Steffens.
We had two florists onsite, Debbie from Wildly, Madly, Deeply who beautifully dressed both our bridal table and Barrell Waterfall ceremony location. Such a popular spot on a hot summers day, offering shad from the sun.
Bruce from Florisdale created an incredible display for our Fireplace area, and a simple arrangement to perfectly compliment the background and nature at the Pebble Beach.
At our Cherry Blossom ceremony location, Soni from Mandap Events & Hire showing off something completely different. This beautiful location offers the ability to either a central ceremony location or stick with something more traditional and stand with our rows of cherry blossoms in the background.
For everyone who had not yet selected a florist or videographers, I hope they enjoyed their time speaking with Amber from Perspectives Photo & Cinema, Geoff from Geoff Salisbury Photography and Calvin from Cinematic Creative Co.
Sweet Bites attended with a delicious selection of cake tasters for everyone to enjoy and we hope everyone managed to make use of Selfie Central & Hotshots Photo Booth to capture a memory of the day. Our celebrant onsite was Kimberly from Lucky in Love and Jenna from The Foil Smith showing off some of here brilliant signs, table decor including all the individual guest names. We hope it all gave you some great ideas on how you can personalise your special day.
