As an all-in-one wedding venue, experience the perfect match with your wedding ceremony and reception at the same location! With our property spanning over 10 acres, our beautiful reception room is closely situated to all of our ceremony locations, and offers a great indoor-outdoor flow with our gardens.
The beauty of our reception room is it provides the ultimate alfresco experience, where you and your guests dine under a canopy of vines and fairy lights. The design also enables us to ensure smaller groups have an intimate day, while we are able to open up our dining areas so larger receptions can enjoy the unique experience we create for you.

Planning your wedding is an exciting time, and our experienced team of wedding coordinators are here to help!
As part of the planning process we contact each couple around 9 months prior to the wedding day to organise a first planning meeting. At this stage we discuss timings of the day, create a run sheet and answer any questions you may have. Then usually 2 months to the wedding, a second planning is always good. Here, we confirm the final details, guest numbers and menu selections and it is also a great opportunity to complete a mock table. Our couples are also welcome to complete a ceremony rehearsal in the days leading up to the wedding.
Table Decor & On The Day Set Up
Have It Your Way
Included as a part of your wedding package, Markovina Estate sets up the tables with table linen, linen napkins, glassware and crockery ready for your team to add your personalized touches on the day.
We have a large collection of vases, wooden boxes, lanterns, tealight candle holders and many more decorations, which you are welcome to use to decorate your tables for no additional charge.
On your wedding day, any suppliers such as florists, bands/DJ’s and the cake delivery can access the venue from 11am without an appointment or earlier with a pre-arranged booking.
Music & Sound
The key to creating great atmosphere
As a part of our wedding package, our in house music system is included. This includes a portable PA system for your ceremony (aux plug in & hand held cordless microphones). Also included is our surround speakers in your reception room as well as garden speakers outside. Finally we have a great dance speaker system for either your DJ to plug into or your own phone.
If you are hiring in a band or live music we do ask them to use their own system, something they are familiar with.
Great lights help set the tone
Dance Floor Lighting
Above our dance floor is an array of lighting to create the perfect atmosphere for special times throughout your day. This is all included as a part of the wedding package and features a fairy light roof, lasers, LED lighting and much more. Because of the lighting features and location of music speakers, we are unable to move your dance floor outside or under the covered area.
Haze & Bubble Machine
The great news is we have both, just ask our staff on the day if you would like to make use of these.
Other Venue Facilities
We Have It All
Also located onsite, is our newly built bridal room available for up to an hour prior to your ceremony (or guest arrival time if your ceremony is offsite). Unfortunately the room is not available to get ready in, but it is a great place to store any bags and touch up hair and make-up throughout the day.
Staffing costs are all included during your stay with us.
Also we want to ensure that every aspect of your day is of the highest standard, ensuring that we have ample bathroom facilities so that guests are not having to spend their time queuing to use our facilities. Our bathrooms are also wheelchair friendly.

Wedding Reception FAQ
Do you have a PA (sound system)?
Yes we do. We have garden speakers, surround speakers inside, speakers in our fireplace area plus dance floor speakers your DJ can plug into.
Do you have any dance lighting?
Yes we do. We have a number of great lighting features including our colour changing LED’s, mirror ball for your first dance, disco lighting and lazers.
Do you have microphones for speeches?
Yes we have two cordless handheld microphones for your speeches.
Are the vines above the main dining area real?
Yes they are.
