It is truly amazing how much the season can impact the ambience of a wedding and an autumn wedding at Markovina Estate is the perfect choice. The golden sparkle of our fairy lights, gardens of red and gold, and canopy of vines in the reception room, all capture the beauty of the season.

We begin to see change in our gardens throughout March, becoming more amber into April and May. Many of our ceremonies are usually still in our increasingly colourful gardens throughout the earlier months of autumn, and our large covered courtyard area is the perfect space for guests to mix and mingle after the ceremony.

Our covered courtyard area is also a great space for your ceremony, should the weather be not so friendly. You are welcome to choose this ceremony location, or one of our garden locations and have this area for back-up. Our experienced team are able to quickly respond to the weather on the day to ensure great comfort for your guests.

As the light fades, the romantic setting of the venue truly begins to flourish. Our fairy lights in the covered courtyard area and reception room sparkle, and the ambience of tealight candles on guest tables creates a wonderful romantic atmosphere.
