Here at Markovina Vineyard Estate we are winding down our busy
summer season and preparing for the winter season of corporate
parties. But that doesn’t mean all is quiet here, rather it is
quite the opposite.
We are incredibly excited…
This weekend we are hosting the celebration of a 100th birthday
party for the first time ever here on the Estate and we are very
excited about it.
We are honoured to have the lovely Vera Green from West
Auckland coming to celebrate her marvellous occasion with us. This
will be her third party at our estate, as we have been lucky enough
to celebrate her 90th, and
95th birthdays and now it is time for
her 100th! They must have been great
gatherings to have her returning for a third time and we feel
extremely lucky she has chosen us again.
Another reason for our excitement is that we will be
joining the likes of the Queen, John Key, and Auckland’s Mayor Len
Brown in congratulating Vera. She received letters from all three,
what company! We can’t wait to see them. (the letters that is!)
We are only 20 minutes from the city
With just a short trip from Auckland city to the beautiful
region of Kumeu, it was the perfect location choice for Vera’s
guests. She will be joined by 50 of her closest friends and family,
who are coming from all over Auckland for this great occasion!
Our stunning setting is a wonderful choice for a family get
together. Before the sun goes down our guests will be able to
wander around our ten acres of beautiful grounds, or just sit and
enjoy the magnficient view.
Intimate indoor setting creates ambience
Later in the evening when the chill in the air calls for moving
indoors, our intimate setting is just right for a family gathering
as it creates the scene for a truly memorable night.
You can’t have a birthday party without sensational food and in
true Markovina Vineyard Estate style, we will be putting on a
delicious meal for our guests.
Vera has made a special request for spit roast lamb and a
buffet meal and to make sure that desserts are served!
We take pride in giving our guests an exquisite selection of
meals and of course these are always accompanied with excellent
wine or other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
What better way to celebrate such a wonderful occasion than in a
warm relaxed setting, enjoying a beautiful meal with family and
special friends without having to do any of the work.
We take pleasure in creating unique celebration experiences at
our Estate and go out of our way to ensure all our guests have a
very happy time that will be well remembered.
We can’t wait to share such a momentous occasion with Vera and
we wish her all the best for the coming year and a very Happy
Birthday!
